Extreme Pressure Test of Formula Shell Motor Oil
In the previous post, Comparison of Leading Motor Oils, it was demonstrated how MPG+ reduced the coefficient of friction by almost 50%, when added to two different brands of leading motor oils.
The following data shows how MPG+ can significantly increase a lubricants ability to withstand the extreme pressures that can be experienced in certain areas of a vehicle, such as the camshaft, transmission, differentials and transfer case. It should be noted, that MPG+, when blended at the rate of 2 ounces per quart of Formula Shell motor oil (the primary lubricant), enabled the test equipment to exceed the limits of the extreme pressure test, without failing.
